This is a stylish way to cover the back splash if you choose a slide in range after having a regular one to cover the back splash area. It attaches easily to the back of the range and looks clean. It cleans easily too.

Excellent Fit and Finish

We bought a slide in range to replace a standard range that was over 15 years old. That left a gap between the counter guard and the backsplash. We ordered the 4" Backguard to clean up the space. It perfectly fit on the slide in and made the space look professional.

Fills the rear gap

there was roughly a 1/2" gap at the rear that was annoying to look at plus prone to havonh food fall through. this solved the problem. i was on the fence between buying the stainless steel or black version. wife wanted the stainless steel and it turned out good. installation is simple via 5 screws so it won't be going anywhere. high quality and not flimsy.
